Do you operate minicoaches or minibuses?

The latest issue of miniplus is available and it is tailored exactly to the needs of the small PCV sector

Community transport (CT) comes under the microscope in the new issue of miniplus, which is published today (20 June).

miniplus is a complementary title to routeone and it is devoted to the small PCV sector. Whether you operate minicoaches or minibuses, it is a source of news and features relevant to your business, and the only standalone title devoted to the sector.

Printed copies of miniplus are available to operators on the same basis as routeone. It is free to those with an O-Licence, those that are in the CT sector, and to local authorities. You can subscribe at the miniplus website and also read all articles there.

In issue 37, both sides of the CT debate are examined.

Martin Allen of the Bus and Coach Association (BCA) gives an update on where the BCA is regarding reaching a compromise over its legal challenge of the DfT’s stance on EU Regulation 1071/2009.

Meanwhile, Halesworth Area Community Transport outlines the likely consequences for its rural Suffolk operation should the DfT’s proposals pass without alteration. It makes worrying reading if you are a CT organisation.

Also covered are the CV Show; GM Coachwork’s 30th anniversary; automation in micro-buses; where Excel Conversions goes next; and GM’s front-entrance Ford Transit, which is evaluated is detail in an exclusive test drive.

Furthermore, one leading light in the accessible minibus industry questions whether the industry has sufficient capacity to build enough Euro 6 vehicles to meet requirements in London ahead of the capital’s ULEZ in April 2019.
