RHA Coaches provides the support, operational guidance and solutions you need to keep your business moving – and could even save you money.
Now entering its third year, the RHA Coaches membership gives operators access to valuable services and sector-specific support to help maintain a compliant and profitable operation.
Combining over 75 years of experience, RHA is well positioned to support operators through any arising challenges, while still offering an affordable rate to ensure that all the industry’s people can thrive.
Stockport based operator Belle Vue – which runs an 80-strong fleet of coaches and buses – joined the membership a year ago.
On joining RHA Coaches, Belle Vue Managing Director Phil Hitchen says: “We were paying around £4,000 for our previous membership, so we have saved around £3,000 simply by moving to RHA. As well as the affordable cost, the value of the membership is a lot more beneficial, too. I have been really impressed with the service and support it provides.”
With RHA Coaches, operators get access to RHA’s helpdesk – a team of experts on hand to provide guidance on issues such as compliance and employment law. Not to mention, you will also have access to a team of experienced coach specialists to assist daily operations and a personally assigned area manager to help with localised expert support.
RHA launched the membership in early 2021 following increase demand for better support for the sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its membership numbers have continued to grow ever since.
Phil Hitchen adds: “Top to bottom, RHA has proven to be a pragmatic organisation that unites operators and supports them with the challenges they are facing as a sector. There has been a real challenge with recruitment in 2022, and while other memberships have been slow to react, we have managed to step up our efforts.”
For years, RHA has actively campaigned on issues affecting the coach industry, such as the Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR), roadside facilities, fuel costs and recruitment, to drive real change for its members.
As part of its efforts, 2022 saw the sector celebrate its first ever National Coach Week, a campaign created by RHA to champion coach businesses and the vital role they play in everyday society.
Adds Phil: “RHA’s service is second to none. It is incredibly proactive, and as an organisation, it is geared towards supporting operators. We will definitely be lifelong members, even just for the way it communicates.”
In addition to guidance and support, RHA Coaches members get exclusive rates on RHA Compliance Services, including tachograph analysis, licence checks and defect reporting, and RHA Business Bureau, such as credit control, business finance and medical services.
They can also access member rates on RHA Fuel Card, RHA Insurance Services and RHA Training. The benefits are aplenty.
Memberships start at just £361 per year and can be spread across the course of the year. To make an enquiry, you can email membership@rha.uk.net or call 01733 263434.
