Vehicle CCTV and telematics specialist Centrad has launched a video telematics and fleet management platform called CenHub.
It is an umbrella for Centrad’s systems and brings together a comprehensive functionality suite via a single user-friendly interface, with the supplier saying that it is “tipped to be the first system of its kind in the industry.”
CenHub gives operators what is described as a seamless solution to the monitoring of drivers, tracking of vehicles and management of fuel consumption, as well as providing video proof of points visited and geofencing capabilities.
Key aspects of the platform include driver safety reporting as well as real-time alerts of hazardous behaviour such as speeding, harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and distracted driving.
When an incident occurs, fleet managers receive an instant notification via email. It will be accompanied by video footage of the unsafe practice that is automatically downloaded and stored for future reference.
The CenHub dashboard also provides operators with a real-time diagnostic check of vehicle CCTV cameras, with instant notification of any hardware failure or malfunction.
Speaking about CenHub, Centrad Managing Director Geoff Cross says: “We are delighted to launch our new CenHub platform, which we view as a gamechanger in video telematics and fleet management, empowering operators to streamline decision making, enhance safety and best practice for driver behaviour, and drive forward efficiencies across their fleets.
“Serving as a centralised hub for Centrad’s systems, CenHub consolidates a comprehensive array of functionalities into a singular, user-friendly platform with the aim of providing a flexible and optimised approach to delivering real-time insights into fleet operations and existing hardware, as well as driver behaviour and safety.
“Through offering 24/7 visibility and access, CenHub ultimately removes the constraints of having to juggle multiple systems, giving operators everything they need at their fingertips to ensure the smooth operation of their fleets anytime, anywhere.”
