Cummins has raised the possibility of its F-series engine range coming to the UK’s small coach and bus market.
The 2.8-litre F2.8 and the 3.8-litre F3.8 are, says Cummins, “well proven in demanding operating environments.”
It adds that the new Euro VI variants maintain that durability, with high torque performance for their size and refined and quiet power delivery. Cummins adds that “many OEMs” have taken an interest in the F-series range and that it is engaged in “promising conversations as to potential installations”.
The engines deliver up to 188bhp and 700Nm of torque.
