The Scania Go premium used coach, bus and truck programme has been updated to enable customers to buy approved Scania vehicles online.
Scania UK says that the change will see a continuation of the level of choice in vehicles on the platform and the overall approach to Scania Go, which was launched in 2022. Sales Director Mark Bridgland describes the programme as “industry leading” and says that the addition of online sales “is the next step in making sure it remains at the forefront of our industry.”
Adds Mr Bridgland: “Not only will our customers love the outstanding quality of their latest Scania Go purchase, but now they can buy how, when and where they want to. By using Scania Go, we are putting our customers back in control, to choose their perfect vehicle, the way they want.”
Vehicles sold via Scania Go will still to be graded and information continues to include detailed specifications, pictures, and an ability go obtain an indicative finance price.
Added value benefits also remain: A 30-day replacement guarantee, a 300-plus point preparation guarantee, a replace before failure guarantee, a 30-day, 24/7 mobility guarantee, ‘pick-and-mix’ service and assurance, and flexible funding.
Speaking about the changes, Scania UK Digitalisation and IT Director Jay Sadier says: “We have seen over the last 20 years fast moving consumer goods, travel, groceries, and restaurants all move to a fully online transactional experience, and in recent times, buying and selling new and used cars online has become more prevalent and commonplace.
“This is the next step for our industry, and we are proud to be driving the shift towards a new way of buying and selling coaches, buses and trucks.”
A further change to Scania Go is that it will now also capture Retail Ready vehicles that come under the programme. Grading levels have been increased from three to four as a result.
