Leons Travel Group has taken delivery of a second 10.9m Scania Touring. It follows a first such coach delivered in May, with both vehicles built on the K 360 underframe.
Like the earlier Touring, the newcomer has 42 seats along with a rear floor-mounted toilet, a DVD player with two monitors, a drinks machine and a set of Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels. Each coach was also supplied with a two-year repair and maintenance package.
Director Andrew Douglas says the first Touring has performed well in service and that the Stafford operator “had no hesitation in purchasing another.” He adds that driver and passenger feedback on the model has been good, with staff particularly liking its large underfloor luggage lockers.
Adds Scania UK Retail Sales Manager Lee Wale: “We are delighted to continue working with Leons Travel Group. It is pleasing to see how impressed it has been with its first Scania Touring, and it’s great that Leons has now added a second one to its fleet – and adorned with a 72-plate registration, too.”
