The new Tourismo M replaces and older and smaller Setra coach with C&J

C&J Coach Tours of Danbury, Essex has received £220,000 of funding from Lombard and NatWest to allow it to purchase a new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M.

The operator is run by David and Tina Houghton and the new coach replaces a smaller Setra. Its Euro 6 driveline will allow C&J to visit a range of European cities without needing to pay any surcharges.

Says Mr Houghton: “The new coach will keep us ahead in an increasingly competitive touring market. The Tourismo M is a top-class vehicle and we’re always looking at ways to enhance our tours.”

Ashley Hutchings, Lombard Relationship Manager, adds: “We’re proud to support a family business and help the company to grow and recognise its ambitions.”
